As a neo -Nazi Voevodin named SVR in a colony for life -prisoners turned into an instrument of torture

In mid-December, the Gulagu.net telegram channel published a protocol of interrogation of the icons of the Russian Nazis Alexei Voevodin, known by nicknamed SVR (“Made in Russia”) and a convicted person for a series of murders based on racism and xenophobia. The SVR was one of the leaders of the St. Petersburg BTO ("combat terrorist organization" banned in Russia), which was operating in 2003-2006. Now he is serving a sentence in one of the most stringent colonies of a special regime for convicts to life imprisonment-IK-18 “Polar Owl”, located in the village of Harp on Yamal.

In October 2021, in the court of the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the process began against Voevodin, Alexander Ageev (Killer from the Tver Wolves gang) and the operative of the Polar Owl Igor Nesterenko. Their case is considered with the participation of jury. The prisoners of Voevodin and Ageev are accused of killing a cellmate with particular cruelty, causing serious bodily harm and torture. And Nesterenko is charged with excess of official powers and the organization of the tortures of convicts.

The meetings were postponed several times due to the lack of the defendants, but in December, judging by the information on the court’s website, the hearing was resumed-from the middle of the month the meeting began to be appointed three times a week.

“... Dmitro Voronenko was imprisoned in my camera No. 614. I knew that Voronenko D. was convicted, in addition, he looked like a native of Central Asia. I think [operative] Nesterenko I.N. He knew that nothing good from Voronenko would be put in the camera [...]. Before you transfer Voronenko to my camera, they took me to the shower so that he would not see me, since he could resist entering the cell. [...] Returning to the camera with the shower, I saw Voronenko D., who greeted me and told me that he clung to the DVD player. After that, I was not saying a word, I struck Voronenko’s head with my right foot. Voronenko fell from the blow and crawled under the bed. I began to strike with his feet, as well as soap wrapped in a towel. I struck Voronenko for about 20 minutes. Voronenko sat with me in the cell for 5 days. In addition, I forced Voronenko to squat, until he became ill, once he from squats [fell] into a fainting. ”

In six hours of interrogation, which took place on September 18, 2016, Voevodin talks about eight similar episodes. In the case of Voronenko, the role of the IK-18 administration and specifically the operative Nesterenko is not obvious. Theoretically, all of the above could have occurred at the oversight of the latter and remain exclusively on the conscience of Voevodin, who beat the cellmate, because he did not like him.

However, in most other episodes of the tortures of cellmates, Voevodin notes that he allegedly received instructions from the operatives.

Moreover, the Nazi, according to him, promised the opera to provide “assistance with the convicts” upon arrival in IK-18 in November 2015.

He proposed to provide him with assistance with convicts who unreasonably complain about the administration of the institution, as well as those who do not comply with the internal regulations. On the proposal Nesterenko I.N. I agreed. In return to me Nesterenko I.N. He promised household concessions, namely, watch more videos, receive food products on any day, etc. ”

In May 2016, according to the interrogation of Voevodin, he allegedly began to fulfill the tasks of the operative on the breakdown of the prisoners.

Ageev, we will have to work with persons who will put in the camera in order that they do not write far -fetched complaints and do not violate the regime of detention in the places of serving the sentence. Nesterenko I.N. He said that we tried to explain the convicts by the convicts by whom they will plant the need to comply with the detention regime and that they did not write unreasonable complaints about the administration’s employees, if the convicts do not understand what is required of them, then I. Nesterenko He said that we can use physical strength against them, but only so that there are no bruises and any bodily harm. ”

The first who, according to Voevodin, got into camera No. 614 was the convicted Burukhin . He was beaten without a direct indication, but Voevodin reports in the interrogation that Burukhin, according to his information, violated the regime of detention, so he already understood that "he was imprisoned to carry out work with him in order to prevent Burukhin from violating the daily routine and did not complain about the actions of the colony."

The next was the convicted Ataev , about which the operative allegedly gave Voivodin quite intelligible instructions. “During the conversation, Nesterenko I.N. He said that at the same time, it is desirable to work with Ataev, it is desirable that Ataev has no bodily harm, i.e. Nesterenko I. N. understood that I and Ageev A. A. probably would beat Ataev, therefore, said so, ”Voevodin said during interrogation.

It angered me, I put on my shoes, and went to Ataeva, after which I inflicted one blow with his foot in the ribs on the left side. Next, I and Ageev A. A. jointly began to beat Ataev, namely, we first began to hit the trunk and feet. When ataev I and Ageev A. A. began to shout at the torso and head, after which Ataev stopped showing any resistance and said that he understood everything. Ageev and I began to beat ateva A.A., because he actually did not understand what I told him. [...] A few days later I and Ageev A. A. again beat Ataeva, because he continued to violate the daily routine, performing various religious rituals, namely we struck at the Ataev’s corps with hands and feet, how many strokes we inflicted, I don’t remember, during the beating of the Ataev, I lay on the floor. ”

The next victims of Voevodin and Ageev were convicts of Salpagarov and Shigaev , who, according to the operative Nesterenko, allegedly violated the daily routine.

Over Shigaev, Voevodin mocked how the investigator could write, with special cynicism.

First, Voevodin and Ageev beat the connected Shigaev in the legs with a 200-gram piece of laundry soap invested in a towel. Later, Voevodin, in his own words, worked out the techniques of hand -to -hand combat in Shigaev, and Ageev even stopped him several times.

As a result, Shigaev’s beatings worsened the state of health, and he went to the doctor. The doctor of traces of beatings “did not notice”, but wrote out the convicted bed rest. However, Voevodin only excited this.

As a result of these actions, Shigaev’s well -being worsened greatly, in connection with which Shigaev was transferred to the hospital, A. A. Ageev was transferred with him so that G. Shigaev did nothing with him, ”Voevodin admitted.

On September 13, 2016, Nesterenko seemed to report, according to the testimony, Voevodin that Zakharkina , who complains to the administration, would be transferred to their camera. Voevodin accepted the order.

A. began to strike with arms and legs all over Zakharkin’s body, including on the head in order to put it on the floor, but Zakharkin continued to resist and did not go to the floor. After some time, we managed to tie Zakharkin to the floor, and A. A. Ageev took Zakharkin to a suffocating reception. [...] After that, Ageev A. A. tied Zakharkin’s hands behind his back, we laid it on the stomach, after which I put a piece of soap in a towel and began to strike the buttocks, caviar and hips. ”

On the same day, Zakharkin, who, after beating, lay on the floor unable to move, died.

Voevodin claims that no one had an intent to kill. However, the motive to get rid of Zakharkin could well have. The murdered prisoner has been sitting for more than 15 years, earlier he was serving a term in the colonies of the Vologda Pyatak and the White Swan. And everywhere he complained about the conditions of detention. In 2010, the European Court awarded Zakharkin 21 thousand euros for improper conditions of detention. For the money received, the convict hired lawyers and continued to write complaints already with the support of professional lawyers.
