The Security Service of Ukraine announced that it had detained a “Russian military intelligence agent” who was preparing a series of terrorist attacks in the Odessa region.
According to the department, the man was supposed to arrange sabotage to "undermine the socio-political situation." Its curators, according to the SBU, were representatives of the Russian intelligence stationed in Transnistria.
According to the department, the man had already organized the arson of a military vehicle in Odessa and poured paint over the monument to the dead Ukrainians. His next targets were allegedly to be the offices of public organizations of a patriotic direction.
The citizen of which country the detainee is is not specified.
