Buckingham Palace has published a program of festive events dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the reign of Queen Elizabeth II.
The main events will take place from 2 to 5 June - these days will be declared public holidays in the UK. They will include a traditional parade in central London, a special celebratory service at St Paul's Cathedral and a concert at Buckingham Palace.
Other large-scale events include a horse show dedicated to the history of Great Britain, which will be held from 12 to 15 May at Windsor Castle, as well as light shows dedicated to the reign of Elizabeth II. They are scheduled for July.
In what celebrations the 95-year-old queen herself will take part has not yet been specified.
