Russian mobile operators Beeline, Megafon, MTS and Tele2 will provide free communication for Russians in Kazakhstan. Such an agreement with the operators was reached by the Ministry of Digital Development, the press service of the department reports.
Incoming and outgoing calls, as well as SMS will be free for Russians. The free period will last from January 12 to January 19 (until this date Kazakhstan has a state of emergency).
In addition, everyone who has been roaming in Kazakhstan since January 5 will be able to request a recalculation of expenses from their operator - these funds will be credited to the balance, and they can be used to pay for communication services in the future.
As emphasized in the Ministry of Digital Development, now there are about 30 thousand Russians using mobile communications in Kazakhstan.
