Russia began importing sausage from the DPR

A meat processing plant from the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic delivered sausage to Russia for the first time. This was reported by the authorities of the DPR.

As part of the first batch, one and a half tons of dry-cured sausages were sent to Russia. They will be sold in the Rostov region.

• The supply of goods from the LPR and DPR to Russia became possible after Vladimir Putin's decree on "humanitarian support" for the self-proclaimed republics, which appeared in November 2021. The decree recognized certificates for goods issued in the LPR and DPR, and also abolished restrictions on their movement across the border.
