The Leninsky District Court of Cheboksary stopped the "rally" case of a member of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Sergey Kushnikov. This was told to OVD-Info by lawyer Roman Raimov, who defended the communist in court.
against Kushnikov On November 7, a protocol was drawn up under an article on violation of the rules for participation in a public event (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) due to a car rally that took place on the same day. The event was dedicated to the anniversary of the October Revolution.
The reason for the termination of the case was the lack of corpus delicti. The court considered that the laying of flowers and the issuance of party tickets - they took place at the monument to Lenin, where the rally ended - were not an action.
