The Ministry of Internal Affairs punished a Nizhny Novgorod resident who, in the uniform of a traffic police officer, was riding a tube tied to a car. This is reported by NN.ru with reference to the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
A local resident was found guilty of violating traffic rules (Article 12.39 of the Administrative Code), the maximum fine is 800 rubles.
The driver of the car to which the tubing was tied was charged with violating the rules of transporting people (Article 12.24 of the Administrative Code). Under this article there is a fine of up to 1,000 rubles.
Both were prosecuted; the amount of fines was not specified. The department added that the citizen “wearing clothes similar to the uniform of a traffic police officer is not a police officer.”
