What is the betrayal?

The fifth president of Ukraine is suspected of treason and assistance to terrorism. The State Bureau of Investigation insists precisely on these formulations.

At first, Poroshenko was seen as a witness to committed crimes, but the status has changed. The house arrest was extended until March 10 and Viktor Medvedchuk. “All evidence is built exclusively on records made allegedly in the framework of some counterintelligence affairs,” the media quotes the words of the deputy from the OPZH Renat Kuzmin, who, when Yanukovych, who held the post of deputy prosecutor general. We are talking about the so -called "coal case" - the supply of coal to Ukraine from the uncontrolled territories of Donbass in 2014-2015.

In November 2014, in Donetsk and Lugansk, in violation of the Minsk agreements, the “elections” were held-pro-Russian militants formalized the seizure of power. Kyiv responded with a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council under the leadership of President Poroshenko: the state contacts with the impostors became impossible. Including the receipt of anthracite for Ukrainian thermal power plants, although most of the mines remained just behind the distinction line.

At the same meeting, Poroshenko sharply criticized contracts, which the Ministry of Fuel and Energy, trying to diversify supplies, concluded with South Africa. Now the investigation believes: the actions of Petro Poroshenko in this matter were coordinated with Viktor Medvedchuk, an official negotiator with the Kremlin. Allegedly, in accordance with the plan of the latter, the Russian Federation also stopped supplying coal to Ukraine.

According to Ilya Novikov, one of the lawyers of Petro Poroshenko, this gives the reason to assume: there is no need to wait for objectivity from the detectives who received the order “from above”. “Poroshenko set the task of getting coal to the Cabinet. The Cabinet of Ministers took him in a legal way. I insist that the method was legal. Because a complete ban on economic activity with occupied territories appeared much later, ”Novikov said in an interview with the influential Internet resource“ Ukrainian Pravda ”.

"I will not be behind bars"

The history of the relationship between Petro Poroshenko from the State Bureau of Investigations and the office of the Prosecutor General for the past part of the presidential term Vladimir Zelensky really looks extensive, like a heart attack. And there are only two exits from this “disease”, in the opinion of the warring parties. Either a precedent is created in Ukraine - the former legally elected head of state falls on the bench of the defendants as an ordinary citizen, and proves his innocence, checking the effectiveness of judicial reform on his own experience, or the opposition unites disagreed, disappointed, lungs in protest and begins active actions, up to impeachment. The third path was proposed by Ukrainian intellectuals, among which both supporters and opponents of the fifth president: “Bayonet in the ground!” In the face of external aggression, internal destabilization cannot be allowed, they said. Chaos in the country will mean the victory of the "Russian world" - without a single volley. Will the parties hear?

Petra Alekseevich has already been interrogated, for example, in the case of moving across the border of Ukraine in violation of the rules of customs control of the collection of 43 paintings by world famous artists. They called for interrogations about illegal appointment to the post of head of the foreign intelligence service. They wanted to listen to as a witness in the case of scandalous scandalies of negotiations with Bayden long before the presidency of the latter, and so on. As a rule, Poroshenko ignored calls. He called the information of political accounts and warned Zelensky: the fate of Yanukovych shines for you! Such shakes, of course, were shook the nervous system.

Emotional climax happened on December 18 last year, under the Rada, at the moment when the representatives of the GBR literally grabbed the car of Petro Poroshenko to present the agenda for interrogation, and then published the video “chase”-with a swearing phrase in Russian, the last that broke from the lips of the ex-president. In early January, the Pechersk court reminded himself. At the request of the prosecutor's office, the property of the fifth president, real estate, land plots and his shares of private companies were seized. The defense concluded: in this way they want to ensure future confiscation.

Although one of the richest Ukrainians (foreign investment companies assess the fortune of the fifth president of about one and a half billion dollars) once again confirmed his business experience. Journalists of the project “Slidism INFO” received confirmation from prosecutors: Poroshenko rewrote the Roshen Corporation and the most significant assets to the eldest son of Alexei. Moreover, he did this in the fall of 2019, when Alexei ceased to be a deputy of the Rada and stopped a political career, and Zelensky was only mastered in the role of the head of state.

Recently, Petro Poroshenko gave an interview with the present “Present”*, which sounded as a manifesto: “I return not to defend myself from President Vladimir Zelensky, but to protect the country.” He excluded his own arrest as a fact: “I will not be behind bars. Now the leader of the "Fatherland" is quite streamlistic commenting on the actions of Petro Poroshenko, with whom she has grown a critical mass of disagreement. “If he believes in his case, and in his soul and in his heart everything is calm, then categorically there is no need to leave the country,” she shared with journalists. “We must stay at home and carry out all justice and unlawful courts - to prove that the law has not violated and your position is honest.”
