The authorities of St. Petersburg warned of the risk of new restrictions. They are needed due to an increase in the incidence of Covid-19, Vice-Governor Oleg Ergashev said at a TASS press conference.

- Today we are approaching a situation when further strengthening of anti -epidemiological measures is required. What is meant: we must think about the transfer of some employees of enterprises to a remote operating mode, prohibition of mass events, and the cancellation of medical examination .

During the pandemic in St. Petersburg, medical examination was already prohibited, as well as planned hospitalization. The clinics then continued to work , but switched to emergency assistance.
