In Podolsk, near Moscow, an Interior Ministry officer shot his police wife with a traumatic pistol. This was reported by TASS and RIA Novosti citing sources.

The regional department of the Investigative Committee began an investigation. The agency does not specify the spouses’ place of work. Presumably, the man accidentally shot his wife while cleaning the pistol, the Investigative Committee notes. She was hospitalized.
