Novosibirsk is slowly becoming the All -Russian Museum - so, if anyone does not know, is called the Moscow Park, where the sculptural images of the former leaders abolished from the capital's streets and squares began to take. A flock of different -made Lenins in the same clearing, along with Leonid Ilyich Brezhnev, is still impressive. At first, a huge Stalin with a broken nose lay next to them, Dzerzhinsky stood in his famous overcoat, Sverdlov was in a hurry ... Stalin lifted to his feet over the past years; Dzerzhinsky was installed on a pedestal and stubbornly try to return to the square under the windows of the organization he created. The last time, even the “referendum” was decided to hold - in full confidence that everything will succeed. So far it did not work.
And now about Rudenko in Novosibirsk.
Stalin in this city is already there. For many years they tried to drag him to a worthy place, but the power of resistance was great; I had to put behind the fence on the "private territory" - near the building of the regional committee of the Communist Party. The noise was still large, throughout the country. But the dogs are barking, the caravan is coming. Although the appeal of precisely the Communists to private property was especially impressive, if you think about it. But there seems to be nobody to think.
Now, then, Roman Rudenko. The initiative, according to, Moscow-in honor of the 300th anniversary of the prosecutor's office. For three centuries, they did not find the best: still - six orders of Lenin, the Order of the October Revolution, the Order of the Red Banner of Labor ... Hero of Socialist Labor ...
Labor was truly socialist. A rare member of the “special triples” (in 1937 they were created in all areas of the country for the most accelerated consideration of the affairs of the enemies of the people) survived the era of great terror.
All the first secretaries of the regional committees, all prosecutors, all the heads of the UNKVD, as a rule, were shot at the same time. But not Rudenko!
Even on the merciless to the “enemies” of Ukraine, his Donetsk “Troika” was able to set a record, repeatedly exceeding the generous thousandth “limits” of executions established by Moscow. And Rudenko himself, as the documents delase now testify, was present at executions (this, in any case, was recorded in the certificates fastened by the Rudenkovskaya signature).
After the war, Rudenko became the main Soviet prosecutor at the Nuremberg process. True, the American scientist Beast Beata Wang Shaak is characterized by Rudenko and his colleague (judge) Nikitchenko as professional Soviet bureaucrats, who were clearly lower in terms of the level of legal luminaries sent to the Nuremberg process by Western allies. Rudenko could not, although he tried very much, to “sew” to the Nazis and Katynsky shooting the Poles by the Chekists in 1940. His deputy Nikolai Zorya was urgently recalled to his homeland, but he prudently did not go-he shot himself.
One way or another, the film about Nuremberg has just released us. Roman Rudenko was played by the most diverse artist - Sergey Bezrukov (Pushkin, Yesenin, Vysotsky ... Now - the Soviet prosecutor). And before that, in 2015, another film was released with a good name “Incorporative” ... He, too, about him-about Rudenko.
The death of the “best friend of Soviet lawyers” served as a powerful catalyst for the career of Roman Andreevich: in 1953, he became the Prosecutor General of the USSR and immediately conducted an investigation in the Beria case, brilliantly proving that he was, among other things, a long -standing English spy. After that, he spent 27 years in the chair of the chief supervision of compliance with the laws. So
Rudenko’s signature is invariably present under many documents shameful for Soviet justice.
... Now, then, a monument in Novosibirsk. Monument to a lawyer , most famous fidelity to power as such. And ready for anything to fulfill her will.

Dmitry Demeshin, Deputy Prosecutor General of Russia, participating in the grand opening of the monument, emphasized that Rudenko acted as the main state prosecutor from the USSR in the Nuremberg process in 1945-1946, and also took an active part in rehabilitation and justification of victims of political repression.
The opening ceremony was also attended by the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Andrei Travnikov, the chairman of the regional legislative assembly Andrei Shimkiv and the mayor of Novosibirsk Anatoly Lokot.
Earlier, the city council of the city refused to approve the idea of the monument-due to the fact that both certificates for the hero were in the glaring contradiction. In addition, it is not clear what was the relationship of Roman Alexandrovich precisely to Novosibirsk?
