On the same day, the Bank of Russia, led by Elvira Nabiullina, issued a report “Cryptocurrencies: trends, risks, measures”, in which he proposed prohibiting the use of cryptocurrencies in Russia and “introduce responsibility for violation of the ban”. The prohibition is subject to the use of crypts as a means of payment, the creation of crypts, investments in a crypt, the use of infrastructure of the Russian financial market to purchase and sell crypta.
That is, if Eric Adams was a Russian citizen, then the police had to come for him. And behind the native of Kolomna Vitalik Butaterin too. He created Ethereum, also called ether.
Why, then, Eric Adams and Elvira Nabiullina have such different views on the same subject?
Eric Adams is a former policeman, not a professional economist, but understands the economy, otherwise he would not be elected mayor of New York. A few words are enough for him to explain his attitude to cryptocurrencies: “New York is the center of the world, and we want it to be the center of cryptocurrencies and other financial innovations. If we are at the front line of such innovations, then this will help us create jobs, improve our economy and continue to be a magnet for talents from around the world. ”
We repeat again:
Innovations help create jobs. Improve the economy. Talents from around the world are attracted. In the report of the Bank of Russia, on all its 37 pages, you will not find such words.
The word "innovation" has never been found there. There is no talk of creating with the help of innovation of jobs, about the emergence of new ways of business and life. The fact that innovations improve the economy is also not a word. And there is nothing that the development of modern cryptocurrencies attracts thousands of young and talented programmers around the world. This is the front edge of the high -tech, a place where extraordinary networks of networks are created and an unusual, decentralized future.
The state needs to think about what place it will take in this future. The state must learn the smart perception of innovation, it is obliged to develop together with Haitek and learn from him freedom and creative power in the creation of new worlds. But this is some other state. Ours, in which the Bank of Russia-does not want to study anything and still wants to be Unter Prishibeev.
There is nothing in the report of the Bank of Russia about Brian Armstrong, founder of the Coinbase cryptocurrency exchange, about Chris Larsen, creator of Ripple crypts, which is used in international banking operations, about Tyler Winklvos, the creator of the Gemini platform. All these people, firms, companies, pioneers of cryptocurrencies and innovation creators, as well as countries where it does not occur to anyone to ban cryptocurrencies, are not interested in the Bank of Russia. By world experience, he understands something completely different. In the preamble, China, which banned the appeal of cryptocurrencies, India, which is going to do this, and Iran, which forbade crypts and mining, is mentioned to the report. It is strange that North Korea is not mentioned. What source of economic experience is disappearing.
The number of people using cryptocurrencies in Russia is not amenable to accurate calculation. They talk about nine percent of the population, which gives millions of people; The Bank of Russia in its report says that “the volume of transactions of Russian citizens with cryptocurrencies, according to some estimates, reaches $ 5 billion per year. Russian citizens are active users of Internet platforms that trade cryptocurrencies. ” Ten or more of millions of Russians have cryptocurrency wallets and a crypt on them, buy and sell in exchangers and crypto -rhizas, engage in mining and stitling, monitor innovations in this area - the market is formed, and only thin tuning is expected from the state, only the creation of new legal norms for the new economy. Instead, Ms. Nabiullina comes out and ten million people show a fist.
Ten million Russians of their own thought, of free will, brought cryptocurns and believed in a crypt. Now they are ordered - stop! So treat the slaves, not citizens. Therefore, it is not surprising that the total answer of these ten million people will be: “But do you go ..?”
Cryptocurrencies cannot be prohibited, like their market.
In some amazing places of the Earth, you can stomp on the high -end legs and threaten the crypt with repression, but the market is such that it will go into the shadows and will still exist.
In the USSR there were currencies, and some were shot. There will be cryptocurrencies in Russia, and what will they do with them? Sold bitcoin - year of prison? I bought five broadcasts - get a Pyaterochka?
This is what the Bank of Russia suggests, when in its report it offers to create a special body for the implementation of a ban on crypt. Cryptopolis? Cryptosysk? Cryptorurine? You can be an elegant lady at the head of the Bank of Russia, but it is precisely this elegance that will have to be responsible for the fact that they will educate people who are infuriated by the organs, for their hands turned out behind their backs, for the beatings seized during the search and stolen in order to achieve a recognition where he bought and which oppositionist translated.
On a par with other terrible dangers for Russia - Navalny, opposition, “foreign Agents”, “Memorial”* - now mining comes. A harmless business, starting with mining on video cards, has turned into a worldwide business using ASIC companies. What is the dangerous mining? He takes electricity from the country, “jeopardizes the power supply of residential buildings” and industrial enterprises. But does the price of electricity increase every year due to mining, does mining drive electricity abroad, and does not direct to the domestic market to lower tariffs? After the departure of mining farm from China and interruptions in the work of mining in Kazakhstan, Russia could become a place where this business can work. This requires the right laws and the right taxes. But we must think about it, we must talk with people and consult with business, we must generally understand why you are needed in your place. The Bank of Russia knows why it is needed: to justify the ban on 37 pages and shout to the FAS team to the authorities.

He reduces the cheekbones from acid - the hypocritical care of the Bank of Russia about the well -being of Russians. Pensions of 15 thousand rubles? Salaries at 25? Rubilovka with food prices? Raising prices for housing and communal services, regular, as a change of seasons? Expensive military expenses, millions and billions that go to the meaningless movements of the troops from the Far East to the border with Ukraine? No, these are trifles, there is nothing to say about this, because it is to blame - who would you think? - Crypt! "The spread of cryptocurrencies creates significant threats to the well -being of Russian citizens." There are many threats, in particular: large arrays of crypts are concentrated in the hands of few people, and they, horror, are anonymous. And what about the national wealth of Russia? It is also concentrated in the hands of a few people, they are not anonymous, we know their surnames. But the Bank of Russia does not see the problem in this.
The world is a step away from the creation of CBDC - digital currencies of the Central Bank. We will not discuss the pros and cons of this project here, we will only say that in other countries of the Central Bank crypt, the Central Bank will work with the crypt, and in Russia, judging by the fact that the market is cleaned, instead of. This should be said honestly and frankly, but it is impossible to expect this from the state in its current state. It never tells the truth and consists of lies.
They are driven by fear-fear of allowing something that they cannot subjugate and control.
They are not confident in themselves and in any development, in any free human activity they see a danger. They cannot allow money next to them that do not belong to them. Where Eric Adams, who decided the first three salaries in cryptocurrency, and many others see a chance, they see “potential threats to the economy and financial system”. They directly talk about this in their report, at the end of which they ask a question for consultations: “What arguments can indicate the need for an even more tough regulation option (for example, similar to China's experience)?”
Go, nursing on a crypt!
And they do not ask the question of a milder option.
And they would have to offer the following question: “Why don't it have to be done at all?”
Cryptocurrencies, the Bank of Russia claims, are used in criminal activity. After the cello and the embassy in Argentina were used in criminal activity, nothing surprises us, but still ask: but the ruble? And euro? And the dollar? And apartments the size of a football field? And the palaces about which Navalny told us? And offshore? What are they used for? The state machine itself is used for criminal activity, but for Ms. Nabiullina all this does not exist, it will not release a report about this, the ruble and the euro will not be banned: the crypt is to blame.
* We are forced to report that the organization has been recognized in Russia by the foreigner and liquidated.
