Rescuers found the body of a woman drowning in an ice hole

In the Leningrad Region, rescuers discovered the body of Anna Skorova, drowning in the ice hole. This was reported in the group of diving detachment "Volunteer". The search lasted nine days. The body of the Uklovova was found about a kilometer from the ice hole into which she ducked.

On January 19, Anna Uplova ducked into an unequipped ice hole on the Oredezh River, after which she, presumably, dragged on the ice with a strong current. All this happened in front of her children and her husband. The husband almost immediately rushed into the water, but Anna could not find. The deceased worked in the bank, she had two children left.

Rescuers plunged several times into the font, but did not find the body of the skill. Official searches ceased on January 20. However, after the incident became known in the media, the search resumed. A criminal case was opened about causing death by negligence.

The font in which the Up was drowned was not equipped and its installation was not coordinated by either the authorities or the church. According to the press secretary of the Gatchina diocese, Alexander Asonov, a “authorized font” was a kilometer from the place of the tragedy, where there were police officers, rescuers and ambulances.
