The Epivakcoron coronavirus vaccine will export, despite the previously doubts about its effectiveness. On February 1, it became known that manufacturers of the Russian vaccine against the coronavirus "Epivakcoron" entered into contracts for foreign deliveries. More than 50 million doses of the drug will be delivered to the unnamed countries, developers, the VETOR SHC, told reporters. On the same day, the Russian Ministry of Health increased the expiration date of this vaccine-up to 10 months for the Rospotrebnadzor GNC Rospotrebnadzor, which was produced on the site of the GNC VB, and up to 9 months for the production of Vector-Billags and Herofarm.

Foreign supplies "Epivaccorons" were announced last summer - then the general director of the Vector Scientific Center Rinat Maksutov spoke of export to Brazil and Venezuela . But since then, the vaccine managed to be in the center of the scandal. In January 2022, the results of the study were published, which showed that Epivaccoron has not just low, but negative effectiveness against coronavirus infection.

Scientists from the European University and the Berezin Medical Institute conducted a study by the “Case-Control” in October 2021 in St. Petersburg. “Cases”, the authors say, there were 1198 people with symptoms and a confirmed coronaviral infection, and participants in another study - a gray -response about the prevalence of antibodies to coronavirus as a control group. As the co -author of the study, Anton Barchuk, explained, the negative efficiency of "Epivaccorone" means a higher risk of getting sick compared to unevaccinated. The reasons are clear: thinking that they are protected by vaccination, people cease to strictly observe security measures and therefore are easier to become infected.

Will there be exports

- It is harmful, dangerous and completely inhuman, inhuman - to subject people to unreasonable deadly risk in the pandemic. It’s impossible to do this, of course, ”commented on the North. The Grais group (“Civil Studies”) are former clinical test volunteers who have united and independently checked the level of antibodies. Everyone had the result negative. Since then, activists have already sent a third letter to the Ministry of Health, in order to either present the results of tests confirming the effectiveness of Epivaccores, or suspend the use of this vaccine. The Grais group claims that the data collected by activists indicate that the "vaccine" of Epivaccoron either does not work at all, or has an extremely low efficiency comparable to zero. "

However, Krinitsky is not sure that the export deliveries of this vaccine will really take place.

- This is a statement from the developer of the drug, I have not seen other evidence of this news, from independent sources. Until there are any contracts or confirmation from the other side, it cannot be said that this contract actually exists. But if these 50 million doses are set - well, we have a chance to get another independent study of this vaccine conducted in another country. Of course, I would not want our country to be exposed in a bad light, putting a useless drug. It would be very disappointing.

- Have you finally convinced of the futility of "epivaccorons"?

- And this is not required, because in evidence -based medicine there is a zero hypothesis. It says that the effectiveness of the drug has not yet been proven, we consider it useless. The developer has not proved the effectiveness of the drug "Epivaccoron", so we have every right to consider it useless. This is indirectly confirmed by our research and others , which were carried out independently of us. The sum of these studies is already about four, and all of them show the zero or negative efficiency of this vaccine.

Head of the Department of Infectious Diseases of the Medical Department of the St. Petersburg State University, the former head physician of the Botkin Hospital, professor, infectious disease specialist Alexei Yakovlev highly appreciates the study of the "epivaccorons" of the European University-he used interesting data on the serological profile of the city of the city, provided by the City Institute. - There is a comparison group, there is data on unuscinated - there is something to compare. And about the idea of determining antibodies to the N-Belya, which is a carrier in the Epivakcoron vaccine and does not reflect the level of neutralizing antibodies-I do not want to discuss the PR campaign of the Vector, this is not a scientific approach, but an attempt to slip between the rain streams. There were expectations, but they did not materialize. And to which countries to send Epivakkoron is no longer a medical question, ”says Yakovlev.

He believes that most Russian doctors do not relate to Epivaccoron seriously, since there are no convincing publications in her favor, and independent experts, on the contrary, gave her a very negative assessment.

- Of course, we all have concerns about whether it is advisable to produce Epivaccoron and spread it. I think that a “companion V” is a normal Russian vaccine, “covivak” may well be used for boosters, but I cannot recommend “Epivaccoron” to anyone, ”says Yakovlev. - Even when the development of vaccines was going on, I said that, probably, according to the side effects of Epivaccoron, it would be softer, so it turned out, the case is small. If neutralizing antibodies are clearly detected after the “satellite”, then after the “epivacorons” in independent studies they are not detected - therefore, since there is no main effect, the question of sideways disappeared by itself.

Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Management and Healthcare of the Department of Politics and Management of the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Higher School of Economics, Vasily Vlasov, believes that if Epivaccoron is sold to other countries, despite the available research on it, then someone needs it.

-So, someone does not know about these studies or someone managed to deceive, to hide these expert assessments. As for the participation of Anna Popova ( the main sanitary doctor of Russia.-SR ), she can rather ruin some kind of sale than to help her. Here in the distribution of this vaccine in Russia, yes, its influence can just affect, and with foreign sales, I think, little depends on it. And the fact that the Vector does not recognize the research of the European University - so they just make a good face with a bad game, they also get money for this, and any company will always protect their product to the last. Well, plus they use the support of local officials here, so this vaccine remains on the market. There is no harm from her - she is simply useless.

What kind of vaccine is this

"Epivaccoron"-truly experimental-peptide-vaccine. There are still no practice of using vaccines created on the peptide platform, unlike vector ("satellite V") or inactivated ("covivak") vaccines. Peptides are short artificially synthesized fragments of a viral spike -shaped protein. There is no real virus in the vaccine, which makes it absolutely safe. But, apparently, useless - critics of this development indicate that the selected peptides are not visible to the human immune system, which means that the vaccine cannot cause an immune response.

The molecular biologist Olga Matveeva explains the inefficiency of the peptide vaccine, comparing a whole virus with a recognizable dragon, and the peptides with its bones: “Most vaccines take a“ whole dragon ”and, as it were, show its stuffed animal. Or they can kill it so as to show it to the immune system. A peptides are small pieces of this The dragon. This is the enemy! It means that he needs to fight, he looks like that. It is possible to measure the level of immunity after the introduction of "epivaccorons" only with the help of special tests also developed by the "vector", Rospotrebnadzor reports . At the same time, the Vector, referring to a commercial secret, does not disclose which antibodies his test system reveals. Standard tests are the presence of antibodies to coronavirus in people vaccinated by "epivaccorone" people do not show people.

Where "epivaccoron" is used "

The Center Center reports that today the Epivakcorone vaccine is used in all regions of the country. And to test it in public in November 2020 in five constituent entities of the Federation - Moscow, Krasnogorsk, Tyumen, Kazan and Kaliningrad. The Kaliningrad journalist Denis Kostoglodov was one of the first in the country.

“When we participated in the trials, there was very little information and no vaccine,” says Kostoglodov. - And I am for vaccination, I wanted to get sorn. There was an opportunity to get merged with "Epivacian", there was no other option.

Kostoglodov was ill with Covid twice-the first time even before the vaccination, in April 2020, the second time in September 2021, when both the Epivacus and the satellite had already done. But he was sick in a very easy form, "there was only only taste and sense of smell."

“When I was vaccinated with Epivacian, we were then controlled for six months,” says Kostoglodov. - I was informed that this is not a placebo, there are antibodies, but they are gradually decreasing. But antibodies developed by "Epivacian" are determined not by all tests. To this was the main complaints to Epivacus: what kind of vaccine these are that is not shown by ordinary antibodies tests. I participated in the study of Rospotrebnadzor in parallel. There they showed me tests that I have no antibodies. Again, as they explained to me, because they measured the wrong tests. The muddy scheme with "Epivacian", of course. My personal opinion is not a harmful vaccination, it is simply useless.

A resident of St. Petersburg, Kirill Borisov, was vaccinated with Epivakkorone himself and instilled his elderly mother. He says that he was worried about her and "did not want to introduce her a vaccine based on a living virus."

-During the time since the vaccination, it was May 2021, there were many contacts, trips between the cities of St. Petersburg-Moscow and contacts with people who became ill in the end. I recommended the vaccine to my friends. Maybe this is not too correct, because I am not a doctor, but among my comrades and loved ones there are not a single sick person, we all live in St. Petersburg, ”says Borisov.

In the telegram chart of reviews about the vaccination of Epivakkorone at the Grais group, the majority writes that after the injection there were no side effects and discomfort, the maximum-the injection site hurts. None of the participants in the chat could get a positive test for antibodies.

Conflict of interest?

The State Scientific Center for Virology and Biotechnology "Vector" is a departmental institution of Rospotrebnadzor. It was created back in 1974, located in Novosibirsk and works at the expense of budget funds. To develop a vaccine from coronavirus, Vector received 1.4 billion rubles from the Russian government from the reserve fund in March 2020.

Among the authors of the patent to the Epivakkoron vaccine, the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova is indicated. The New Gazeta, having sent a request to the Vector, received confirmation that this is not a namesake of a senior official, but she herself is: "As a doctor of medical sciences Anna Yuryevna Popova participated in the development of the drug in the aspect of the use of the vaccine in the population."

The question of a possible corruption component is that the head of the controlling structure is also a co -author of development and the patent for the vaccine, in December, was raised in the State Duma by the Communist Party by the Communist Party.
