A rally was held in the Chechen village of Goyty near Grozny with the participation of relatives of the former judge of the Supreme Court of Chechnya Saidi Yangulbaev, whose family is threatened by the Chechen authorities. Video recordings of the meeting, which took place near the local mosque, were distributed by the Grozny State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company.
"Representatives of the Keloy teip harshly criticized the Yangulbayevs and disowned them... The family, relatives and the entire Keloy teip turned away from the Yangulbayevs. Moreover, all those gathered, including their own clan, declared revenge and enmity against them," the Grozny TV channel reported .
Judge Said-Amin Yangulbaev, the brother of the judge, said that he would personally kill his nephew Ibragim Yangulbaev, whom Chechen authorities call the administrator of the 1ADAT Telegram channel, if he catches him before others, the Kavkaz.Realii publication reported . “And I will do everything to catch him before others. But if you beat me to it, I forgive you his blood. I am breaking with them,” he said.
Another brother of Saidi Yangulbaev, whose name was not released, said the former judge and his family "are not part of us" and "we do not renounce their murder." He also asked for forgiveness from Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov and the entire Chechen people.
The brother of Zarema Musayeva, Saidi Yangulbaev's wife, who was forcibly taken from Nizhny Novgorod to Grozny, where a criminal case was opened against her, also cursed the family at the rally.
