Vitaly Mansky, President of Artdokfest:
“The entire competition without any censorship will be shown within the framework of IDFF Artdocfest/Riga in early March, the jury will also work and prizes will work there. In Russia, everything is more complicated ... In St. Petersburg in 2021, all festival shows were canceled at once at three sites of the city, and there is still no decision on how to return Artdokfest to the “cultural capital”. In Moscow, the festival will be held at the Karo 11 Cinema October on New Arbat. But today it is known about the impossibility of showing at least three out of 19 paintings of the competition. How many films out of almost a hundred out -of -competition paintings we will not be able to show in Russia is not yet known. Therefore, the slogan "Artdokfest" in 2022 - "Maximum possible!" "
