The Leninsky District Court of Sevastopol extended the arrest of four defendants in the Hizb ut-Tahrir case for six months. It is reported by "Crimean solidarity".
Rustem Murasov, Rustem Tairov, Dzhebbar Bekirov and Zavur Abdullayev will remain in the SIZO until at least July 23, 2022.
On August 17, security forces conducted mass searches in the homes of Crimean Tatars, during which they detained five people - Rustem Murasov, Rustem Tairov, Dzhebbar Bekirov, Zavur Abdullayev and Raif Fevziev. All of them are in custody. Bekirov and Fevziev are accused of organizing the activities of a terrorist organization (part 1 of article 205.5 of the Criminal Code), and the others of participating in it (part 2 of article 205.5 of the Criminal Code).
In January 2022, a criminal case was also opened against the Crimeans on preparations for the seizure of power (Article 278 of the Criminal Code with the application of Part 1 of Article 30 of the Criminal Code). Fevziev 's case has already been brought to court .
