
In St. Petersburg on February 6 in the evening, warming is expected to zero degrees and wet snow. This was announced by the chief weather forecaster of St. Petersburg Alexander Kolesov. On Monday, February 7, the temperature will continue to hesitate from 0 to +1 degrees, which means that ice and snow porridge are expected on the roads and sidewalks.
- Until the evening of February 6, negative air temperatures will be observed, we will find a rather smooth warming. On February 4, in the evening we are waiting for –10 degrees, and at night [it will be] even colder. On Saturday morning, February 5, with the approach of the atmospheric front, it will snow. Most likely, the precipitation will be moderate. A short break is expected on Sunday, February 6, but the next atmospheric front is suitable there, so the snow will go again. By the evening of February 6, we are waiting for warming to zero degrees, during the day - from –2 to zero. The thaw will begin only on Monday, February 7, on this day there will be from 0 to +1 degrees, and also with precipitation in the form of wet snow.
Alexander Kolesov also notes that with the approximation of the cyclone, the wind is expected to strengthen up to 7–12 m/s. In three days, according to the weather forecast, it can fall up to 10 centimeters of snow - 2-3 centimeters on Saturday and Sunday, and up to 4 centimeters on Monday, February 7.
