In one of the capital's polyclinics, the agency was told that at the moment, a second PCR test after quarantine is not required. Doctors from another polyclinic noted that “no one is taking repeated tests now,” and quarantine will close automatically.
On the city’s coronavirus hotline, one of the operators said that, according to available information, a second PCR test should be taken on the 10-11th day, but for more detailed information, he suggested contacting the polyclinic or the mos.ru portal. Another operator said that he had information that a repeat PCR test had not been carried out since January 24.
The fact that in Moscow they stopped taking a second PCR test after recovery is also confirmed by RBC. The doctor of polyclinic No. 45 said that the control smear has not been taken since January of this year. The information was confirmed to the publication by the head physician of one of the Moscow polyclinics, as well as a source in one of the private clinics in Moscow.
The refusal to re-PCR testing was not officially announced. RIA Novosti sent a request to the Moscow Health Department and the operational headquarters, but so far it has not been possible to receive a response.
