In Vologda, the police drew up a protocol and summoned Yevgeny Domozhirov, a politician and leader of the Together movement, for questioning under the article on the public demonstration of Nazi symbols (part 1, article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). He reported this to OVD-Info.
The reason for compiling the protocol was a post on VKontakte on the page of the Together movement. According to the police, Domozhirov is the administrator of this public. The post contains criticism of the actions of the State Duma deputy from United Russia Alexei Kanaev.
“Any lousy European country that surrendered without a fight to Nazi Germany has long had well-equipped and systematically cleaned public toilets. It is with us, a space power, in the 21st century, next to a multi-storey building, there is a wooden toilet with a “point”, and this does not surprise anyone, ”the publication says.
- In February 2021, the criminal case against Domozhirov was terminated under the article on insulting government officials (Article 319 of the Criminal Code) due to a YouTube video. The reason for initiating the case was a one and a half minute video on YouTube “Destroy. Like real fascists” about the protection of the square on Yaroslavskaya street in Vologda. In the video, Domozhirov criticizes the actions of local officials. Before initiating a case for the same video, the activist was fined in August under the article on the public demonstration of Nazi symbols (part 1 of article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
- Yevgeny Domozhirov is regularly subjected to persecution in Vologda. In May, he was detained for refusing to hand over his passport to a law enforcement officer near a construction site on Yaroslavskaya Street. At the end of April, the activist was arrested for three days because of monitoring the same construction site: the police demanded that he observe self-isolation, and after 15 minutes they detained him . On September 4, Domozhirov was detained due to non-payment of a fine, leaving him in the department until the trial. From the court, the activist was hospitalized in an ambulance: he became ill after a night in the police department.
