The St. Petersburg Administration of the Ministry of Justice applied to the court with the request to liquidate the Charity Fund "Sphere" (recognized by the "Ino-Agent"), which acts as the operator of the Russian LGBT networks (recognized as "Ino-agent"). This was reported by the United press service of the courts of the region.

The claim for liquidation was filed in connection with the "inconsistency" of the fund values of state policy and the goals of the creation of a non -profit organization. It was registered by the Kuibyshevsky District Court of St. Petersburg, but has not yet accepted for production.

The Ministry of Justice conducted an audit and stated that the organization works with "gross and multiple violations of the legislation of the Russian Federation, mainly unheard of in nature."

“All activities of the sphere” are contrary to state policy aimed at preserving, increasing and developing human capital, taking into account territorial settled. The activities of LGBT communities and their activists are aimed at large-scale and conceptual changes in the perception of the institution of the family, traditional family values in terms of gender identity, ”writes the press service of the courts of claims about claims about claims Ministry of Justice.

Representatives of the Sphere reported that the Ministry of Justice conducted an unscheduled audit in October 2021. Among the revealed “violations” the department indicated the ”intentions of the fund to change the legislation and moral foundations in the Russian Federation and attempts to“ make discord to Russian society, acting in violation of the Constitution of the country ”.

Human rights activists believe that an attempt to eliminate the "sphere" is an attempt by the authorities to negate the protection of the rights of LGBT people in Russia. The fund is engaged in programs and initiatives to support and assist LGBT+ people and their loved ones. The organization also cooperates for these purposes with other funds.

In 2016, the Ministry of Justice included the Fund "Sphere" in the register of NKO-agent. Last year, Igor Kochetkov, related to the Russian LGBTS Foundation, and the director of its programs, were also included in the relevant registers. Among other things, the network has been evacuating from Chechnya representatives of the LGBT community from Chechnya.
