The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow imposed 10 days of administrative arrest on picketers Alexander Kibanov and Konstantin Zaruba, who advocated for the release of politician Alexei Navalny. This was reported by OVD-Info lawyer Alexander Salamov, who represented their interests in court.
The activists were detained on Pushkinskaya Square on February 13 and taken to the Tverskoy police station. There, protocols were drawn up against them under the article on repeated violation of the “rally” legislation (Part 8 of Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code). After this, Kibanov and Zaruba were left in the department overnight until the trial.
