A picketer with a poster “Love is stronger than fear” was detained in Ulyanovsk

In Ulyanovsk, Danila Serbenyuk was detained, standing with a poster "Love is stronger than fear." He reported this to OVD-Info.

The activist was taken to a mobile police station, where he was asked to give an explanation.

14:30 Serbenyuk was released from the police station after an explanation. The police said that they could draw up a protocol against him because of his posts on Instagram about the action on January 23, 2021.

• “Love is stronger than fear” is the slogan proposed by Navalny’s team in February 2021. It was used to stage a peaceful protest on 14 February 2021 to show the authorities that the protesters who demanded the release of an opposition politician are not giving up. In 2022, some activists repeatedly took to the streets with posters bearing this slogan.
