The Russian short film "Trap" received the "Golden Bear" on Berlinal

The short film of the Russian director Anastasia Weber "Trap" (Trap) won the Golden Bear Berlinale in a short film.

“TraP” is the thesis of Weber, shot in the St. Petersburg School of New Cinema.

“The name came to me not by chance, at the very beginning of work on the project. This is not only an allegory about a "cage" or a reference to the actual musical style. TREP is a way of life and a manner of extreme feeling that most young guys live in every corner of Russia. TREP is when you had to die for a long time, but for some reason alive, ” said the director of the film.

This year, the Berlin Film Festival program included the Russian film “Products 24” (“Convenence Store”), director Mikhail Borodin about the history of “Golyanov’s slaves” and the life of migrants in Russia.
