Public activist and blogger Anastasia Emelyanova was given a referral for hospitalization after the use of force against her in the mayor's office of the city of Baksan in Kabardino-Balkaria. This was reported by the Kavkaz.Realii portal.
Emelyanova came to the city hall on February 15 to talk with representatives of the administration and file a complaint, but they began to interfere with her. She posted a video of her visit on her YouTube channel. The recording shows that several employees do not allow her to enter one of the offices and do not respond to her requests to wear medical masks.
At some point, an unknown man in a mask began to threaten her, and then dragged her along the corridor of the building by force. This was observed by a police officer who practically did not react to what was happening. Law enforcement officers only promised to take a statement from Emelyanova about the man.
A few days later, the woman's condition worsened due to injuries and stress. Doctors gave her a referral for hospitalization in the Prokhladnensky district hospital. According to Kavkaz.Realii, the police are investigating the fact of the attack.
