A court in Moscow fined an activist who came out with a poster on Red Square

The Tverskoy District Court fined activist Abdulkadir (Felix) Isaev 10,000 rubles under the article on violation of the rules for participation in a public event (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) due to a solitary picket. This was reported by his defender from OVD-Info Vladimir Vasilenko.

Isaev was detained on February 12 on Red Square, where he held a solo picket. He was taken to the Kitai-Gorod Police Department.

Isaev came out with a poster in support of political prisoners and against the "Kadyrovization" of Chechnya and Russia.

• Participants in various actions are regularly detained on Red Square: eco-activists who wanted to record a video message, participants in single-person pickets with posters about Putin , against the constitutional reform or in support of protesters in Belarus , actionists and simply picketers with a smiley face or a blank sheet of paper . According to the federal law on rallies, the procedure for holding public events on Red Square is determined personally by the President of the Russian Federation.
