The head of Rospotrebnadzor, Anna Popova, suggested that the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, Alexander Chupriyan, not to place people evacuated from the self-proclaimed republics of Donbass in the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories, Interfax reports.
“I would appeal not to consider the Krasnodar Territory as a place where they can ... Considering that we have a holiday season ahead of us. If it is possible and colleagues are ready to accept, [should be placed] in other places. But the Krasnodar Territory and, possibly, the Stavropol Territory should be left without involvement in this system for the time being, ”Popova said at a meeting in Rostov-on-Don.
Acting head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Alexander Chupriyan said at the same meeting that at least 26 regions of Russia agreed to accept residents of Donbass, and Russian Railways are ready to transport people from the Rostov region to other regions.
