Person involved in the “palace case” Valery Lavrov was transferred to the Vladimir region

Valery Lavrov, a defendant in the “palace case,” was transferred to colony-settlement No. 9 in the Vladimir region. This was reported by the telegram channel “Prisoners 212” with reference to the wife of a political prisoner.

On September 29, Lavrovwas sentenced to one and a half years in a penal colony. He was found guilty of using non-life-threatening violence against a police officer (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code) during a rally in support of Alexei Navalny on January 23. According to the prosecution, Lavrov pushed away the security officer when he tried to detain him.

On December 14, the Vladimir Regional Court upheld Lavrov’s sentence.
