The rail high-speed passenger transport line from the Otdykh railway platform to the Zhukovsky airport will be removed from the Territorial Planning Scheme for transport services in the Moscow Region, the LH Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of the region has assured.
There they responded to appeals from citizens alarmed by the next appearance of the LRT through the science city in materials on the justification of the project for the further transport development of the Moscow region.
Mosoblarkhitektura sent a request to the developer of the changes to STP TO MO - Research and Design Institute of Urban Planning.
"The specified LRT branch is not in the approved part of the Draft Scheme. There was a technical error in the materials for substantiating the Project,” explained specialists from Research and Development Institute of Urban Planning. “Comments on the specified LRT branch will be taken into account and excluded from the materials for substantiating the Scheme prepared for approval.”

For its part, the Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of the Moscow Region also confirmed that in the final version of the Territorial Planning Scheme for Transport Services there should not be an LRT line in Zhukovsky. It remains to wait for the publication of the final version of the document to be sure of this.
