Ukraine informs: the country is ready to repulse Russian creeping aggression. Will the world support her?

The morning of Tuesday, February 22, brought another news from diplomatic fronts. Employees of the US Embassy, ​​temporarily moving from Kyiv to Lviv, will spend the night in Poland - for security reasons. That is, in the daytime, they will continue to fulfill their duties, in particular, to provide emergency consular services, and in the evening they will move to Warsaw. This algorithm was officially confirmed by US Secretary of State Anthony Biginen. The Australian Embassy (the information is also official) evacuated its employees to Poland and Romania.

Therefore, the first working visit to Ukraine on such a day of Estonia President Alara Karis looks, without exaggeration, a worthy act. After negotiations with President Vladimir Zelensky, the leaders of the two countries held a briefing.

Zelensky, for his part, did not fail to draw a parallel: this is a real manifestation of courage and solidarity at a time when "other diplomats leave Kyiv." The President of Ukraine again called the “DPR” and “LPR” by terrorist formations, the recognition of which the Russian Federation created legal grounds for further aggression in Ukraine.

- Russian escalation is an unprecedented challenge for Europe and the world. The world cannot repeat the tragic mistake, the one that he made in 2008 with Georgia, ”he said.

The head of state noted that the escalation is still able to stop the sanctions - the complete stop of the Northern Stream - 2, the further defense and economic support of Ukraine. He thanked the Estonian president for the Javelina and the modern mobile military hospital. He said that they also discussed the topic of the next Summit of the Crimean Platform and the issues of Euro -Atlantic integration of Ukraine.

“We hope that this year will be the year of specific decisions that Ukraine really needs in the current situation,” concluded Zelensky.

Alar Caris confirmed:

- We are next to Ukraine and will support you by all means. Russia must stop inciting the conflict and remove its troops from the territory of Ukraine. This is a decisive moment in European history, since the threat of Ukraine is a threat to European security, ”said Estonia President. - Putin will answer before future generations for his violent actions.

He confirmed that the EU plans a large -scale package of sanctions, and repeated that the doors to the European Union and NATO for Ukraine should be open.

- You belong to Europe, we support Ukraine, reject illegal annexation and believe that your country has every right to protect its borders. We will give you military capabilities, ”the Estonian leader confirmed. - I'm not afraid to say that. And this is the war of Russia against NATO, Putin should take into account.

“We accurately see an attack on the sovereignty and independence of the state,” the president answered. - From the Foreign Ministry received a request to break the diplomatic relations with the Russian Federation, now I will consider. We held consultations in Europe, offered different negotiation formats, but from the Kremlin we received an answer yesterday ... We will react, protecting our sovereignty.

The prospects of the introduction of martial law have been expressed as follows:

- We believe that there will be no war against Ukraine, and a wide escalation too. But if it ( Big War. - O. M. ) will be, then martial law will be.

To the question about the requirements of the leaders of the "DPR/LPR" reacted with a remark:

-Who-who demands? And ... we do not communicate with them, I do not know who it is.

At the same time, the appeal to the Armed Forces of Ukraine Minister of Defense Alexei Reznikov did not look like formal or sedative.

- The fact that you have known eight years now saw the whole world ... The face of a criminal who wants to keep a free world in hostages. You broke the plans of the enemy who all these years waged a vile war, hiding behind women and children ... A punishment will certainly come for a crime. There are difficult trials ahead. There will be losses. We'll have to go through pain, overcome fear and humiliation. But we are on our land, and it’s true behind us.

Rada took a break in the meeting - they prepared a statement where they should be reflected not only to assess the current situation, but also the actions that the country will take in response to Russian aggression. (Let me remind you that in Ukraine-the parliamentary-presidential form of government.) After two hours, the deputies returned to the hall: the document continued to “bring to mind” in specialized committees.

Many parliamentarians turn from the stands to their voters, ask them to maintain endurance and tranquility, not to knock down the working rhythm. It seems that they are ready to leave aside party ambitions and showdowns, because in all performances it sounds: we are one. They talk about the need to urgently adopt the law “On the right to self -defense” that has long been submitted for consideration - to give the civilian population with defense weapons in their hands to help the army to protect the country, and transfer the economy to military rails.

The mayor of the capital, Vitaly Klitschko, recorded the video: "Russia actually declared war on Russia."

But in the Kyiv State General Administration, a rumor again refuted that on February 22 in the capital it is planned to check the warning system with the inclusion of the sound of sirens.

As a result, the Rada almost unanimously accepted the statement regarding the recognition of the Russian Federation of self -proclaimed formations for part of the territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions of Ukraine.

The parliament indicated: “Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Sevastopol and individual regions of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions temporarily occupied by the Russian Federation,” an integral part of Ukraine. The decision made in Russia “does not have legal consequences”, therefore the Rada calls for “the abolition of illegal decisions”. Deputies also call on foreign states and international organizations “not to recognize the independence of illegal self -proclaimed entities” and state the fact:

“The Russian Federation is an aggressor and a side of the conflict, all this time its troops have been and continue to be in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.”

The Parliament of Ukraine imposes responsibility “for a sharp deterioration in the field of security, mass misinformation and propaganda in order to create a far -fetched reason for the decision to recognize the“ republics ”. Rada supports the official request sent on behalf of the President of the country on the basis of Art. 6 of the Budapest Memorandum to the UN Security Councils of the UN Security Council, demanding that you have consultations immediately to reduce tension and practical steps to ensure the security of Ukraine and supports the urgent convocation of the UN Security Council with the participation of Ukraine.

The deputies indicated: the current decision of the Russian Federation is part of the many years of systemic efforts of the Russian Federation to undermine the sovereignty of Ukraine, its territorial integrity and the destruction of Ukrainian statehood.

At the same time, the LPR militants said they considered their territory the entire Lugansk region, and called for Ukraine to allocate troops.
