No war!

Yesterday morning I got up in a single picket on Sovetskaya Square in the lakes, my dear and most beloved city. The poster that I realized on the eve of the picket was as simple as possible and contained a simple message to the madness: “No war!”

In the first few minutes of my active demonstration, I was visited by an MFC security officer, went through my contempt for a contempt for me and immediately called the police outfit. The department reacted quite quickly: already twenty -five minutes after the start of picket, I was detained by police officers.

(Despite these misadventures, they managed to notice and take a picture of several people; some comrades even tried to argue with my poster, but, alas, he does not talk.)

Staying in the department turned out to be the most boring part of this event-I answered all questions from the police as much as possible, constantly referring to the 51st article of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, which allows me not to testify against myself. Let them understand themselves, if they believe that I have broken something: it is not for nothing that they pay a salary, in the end.

Police officers asked me a lot of questions, to which they never received an answer until my release. Some of them were quite curious, so I will answer them here.

1. Why lakes? Why not Kolomna, not Moscow, namely the lakes?

A good question that they managed to ask me on the eve of the picket. I am madly in love with my hometown and even wrote about it in one of my letters in the mailing list - when my hands reaches the creation of the archive, I will definitely share it.

My homeland is lakes, I want to act here, I want to change the reality surrounding me here, I want to create here. I want to live here. But most of all I want to live here. And to make it safe.

It is equally important to go out with a picket in small cities than to go out with a picket in Moscow.

2. Who forced me to go to the picket and how much was paid to me?

I was forced to go out to the picket, believe it or not, by personally Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, who on the eve of his appeal to Russian citizens and subsequently recognized the DPR and LPR.

The striking and unprecedented absurdity of the structure of the moment sublimated in the letters on my poster: I don’t know what would have happened with my conscience if I had not entered the picket - after all, you must agree, all the horrors that the citizens of our country have to pass mainly with their silent permission.

I strongly disagree with Putin’s policy and try to actively express my disagreement. Today this disagreement has acquired the form of a picket.

An equally interesting question was how much they paid me. This is not the first time I hear it: when observing the elections, I already faced this. I will answer like this: the Bi-2 musical group has a wonderful song “Homeland”, in which there are no less wonderful lines: “It is impossible to prohibit the homeland for free”.

3. Why did I choose the form of the picket?

My goal was to convey to the maximum possible number of people thought that the war of Russia with Ukraine is unacceptable. I admitted that in the event of my detention, my poster will see a much larger number of people if the media betrayed this case of publicity: this is what happened today - my poster published the ATEO channel. At the time of writing this note, about 57 thousand people saw the post.

4. What does “No War” mean?

This phrase was on my poster because of its versatility: firstly, I believe that a full-scale war is being waged against Russian citizens-the state destroys free people loyal to their homeland: Boris Nemtsov, Anna Politkovska, Alexander Litvinenko-they were all killed by the state exclusively for their devotion to their homeland. This is extremely unacceptable.

Secondly, I believe that Russia's attack on Ukraine is unacceptable under any circumstances. The Kremlin’s ridiculous attempts to find Casus Belli to start a war with Ukraine only show the political failure of the Russian Federation as a state: the president prefers the war to solve internal problems, which cannot be unambiguously called a manifestation of force. War is a huge weakness. A strong state, first of all, needs severe diplomacy, and not well -established production of zinc coffins.

In his appeal, Putin states that Ukraine “has been mired in corruption” that “the authorities in Ukraine does not think about the people at all, but only about its billions,” that “people have nothing to pay for utilities.” Does he really not understand that he is not talking about Ukraine, but about Russia? I do not believe in that.

No war, dear friends! Russia will be free.
