
The Czech authorities temporarily suspended the issuance of visas to Russian citizens. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the statement of the prime minister of the country Peter Fial.
Peter Fial also stated that exceptions will be made only for “humanitarian cases” - for Russian citizens who are persecuted, for example, activists of opposition movements.
In addition, in St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg, the work of diplomasses ceases. The Czech Republic also recalls permission to the activities of Russian consultations in Karlovy Vary and Brno.
