
On the night of February 24, Vitaly Aronzon, the elder brother of the poet Leonid Aronzon and the keeper of his archive, died in the United States at the age of 86.

Vitaly Lvovich Aronzon was born in 1935 in Leningrad, graduated from the Leningrad Electrotechnical Institute (1959). Engineer, candidate of technical sciences. He worked at the All-Union Aluminum-Magnesium Institute, taught at the Leningrad Mining Institute. In 1992 he emigrated to the USA.
In the early 2000s, Aronzon initiated work on the development of the archive of Leonid Aronzon, performed the full digitization of the archive, and then transferred it to the Gift Center for the study of Eastern Europe in Bremen. The two -volume collected works of Leonid Aronzon (St. Petersburg: Publishing House of Ivan Lumbach, 2006; reprints. 2018), Vitaly Aronzona owed its existence to its existence.
The author of the book of memoirs “Magic Lantern” (Boston, 2011), the poetic collection “The Small of the Bheremukha” (Boston, 2012), children's poems, numerous publications on the Internet, including memories of the brother.
