Conductor Valery Gergiev and pianist Denis Matsuev will not take part in concerts of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, which will be held on February 25, 26 and 27 in the New York Carnegie Hall.

According to the Carnegie Hall website , instead of Valery Gergiev, the Canadian conductor Yannik Neze-Segen will stand up for the remote control of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, which is not yet named by the soloist replaces Denis Matsuev.

The administration of the concert hall did not bring explanations of this decision. According to the representative of Carnegie Hall, it is caused by "the latest events in the world."
