For the first day of battles, 137 Ukrainians died - Zelensky

In Ukraine, 137 troops died in the first day of fighting, of which 10 were officers. This was told in his video message by President of the country Vladimir Zelensky.

According to him, another 316 Ukrainian troops were injured. The Russian Ministry of Defense has not yet reported the losses of its army.

Zelensky noted that he was in Kyiv despite the threat to him and his loved ones. He also stated that the diversion forces of the enemy entered Kyiv.

• On February 24, President Vladimir Zelensky announced that Ukraine is breaking diplomatic relations with Russia. He also called on Russians to hold anti -war shares. "Russia attacked the same way fascist Germany attacked during the Second World War," he said.
