Any drawback can be turned into a dignity, according to the Katitsa of Lishka. The Serbian Ceramist, part-time engineer-builder, lives in the Russian village for 25 years: sings in the choir, makes plates and creates jewelry from ceramics that take prizes at international competitions. As part of the Siberian festival of ceramics, Katitsa came to Tomsk with a master class. There we met.

In one of the halls of the first museum of Slavic mythology, laughter and jokes are heard. Here is a master class on the painting of jewelry Serbian ceramist Katitsa Lishka. She alternates tips on technology with everyday tips.
-Everyone has some drawbacks. But we can always turn them into dignity. The more you hide something, the more attention is paid to it. And if I say: pay attention to what my priest is. And people will say: yes! It all depends on how we look at ourselves: if I love ourselves and think beautiful, then everyone will think so. Each person has his own cherries on the cake. Katitsa Lishka, master curamist from Serbia
Katitsa came to Russia under a working contract for three months ... 25 years ago. The Serbian builder engineer was invited to build an ex-center.
- After the ex -interest, I was offered another contract - I agreed. And then I built McDonalds. 18 pieces. And somehow I liked it here. I learned Russian during work. True, at first these were only words that most often sound at a construction site. Then the business vocabulary went, necessary for concluding contracts. And then I somehow found myself in the circle of friends and realized that I could not really say anything. She began to seriously learn the language.

Katitsa Lishka lives in the suburbs, in the village of Perkhushkovo. He travels to Yudino next door to rehearsals, likes to drag out Russian folk tunes with a local choir. There are often held festivals at which she sets ceramics. In general, the Serbian master likes rural life, nature inspires her.
- Especially the leaves inspire me. At any time of the year: it is green, yellow, red or almost dry - it is always full of life. I see here such a philosophy: everything in the world is updated. And as a symbol of this philosophy, I make decorations in the form of leaves. In what color it is not painted - it turns out beautifully. Before doing jewelry, Katitsa made plates. The bowls of all shapes and sizes in the form of leaves and not only fly apart in Russia and beyond today.

You never know what you can, until you try, Katitsa believes. And she tries everything: in childhood, she learned to sew in her mother’s atelier, having received an architectural education, tried to make chandeliers. Then carried away by ceramics. The main thing is that the ceramist understood for himself: whatever you do, do not chase fashion. In her life, Katitsa only once turned to trends - she designed an apartment in the last fashion. And immediately I realized that she did not like it. The master is sure: you always need to go for sensations.

- When I decided to make jewelry, they told me: “Ceramics are the same earth! Who will take it from you? Who will look at it? ” I said: "Enough that I will look at it." And one jeweler told me that if you make jewelry, then always shiny. I listened to him and did this, but only one bead. The rest left matte. Because the value of ceramic jewelry is not in splendor, but in the fact that each bead, every detail passes through my hands six to eight to ten times. And such a decoration will be in a single copy. Even if I want to make a copy, it will not work. My jewelry is an exchange of energies: I make them with love, and people wear them with love. When I see happy eyes, I want to do more. And people understand this. Today, sometimes jewelry is more expensive than gold. And those who look wider buy it.
Katitsa makes his jewelry from high -temperature clay. Each of them is first covered with Angobus, then - glaze, after - with a paint to give the desired shade, and firing several times. The craftswoman says: at customs they are often interested in - what kind of stones she is lucky. She has to go into long clarifications to prove that it is clay.
The jewelry, for which the Katitsa Lishka received a reward at the VII International Biennal "Baltic Design`2018" in Kaliningrad , for which the Katitsa Lishka received a reward at the VII International Biennal "Baltic Design`2018" in KaliningradDepending on the color, size and shape of ceramic elements, the master experiments: it hangs jewelry on a silk tape or ropes, connects to pearls. Sometimes in the jewelry of Katitsa you can find unique details that ceramic beads only shade.

-Once I participated in an international competition in Kaliningrad, where national costumes and culture were represented. I made a decoration for Serbian motives. The basis took the replica of the seventh century amulet. This piece of wood is more than a thousand years old, it was pulled from the Sava River. In Serbia, very expensive furniture was made from this wood, and pieces were sent to me. It was only necessary to give them a form.
What is still surprising Katitsa is when Russian women say: “All your jewelry will go to you!” “And it will also go!” Says the Serbian craftswoman. It doesn’t matter what you are dressed in: in a dress, jeans, a shirt or sweater - wear and wear. In order to put on something beautiful, you do not need to wait for a suitable case or some special moment. He is now.
