In Tomsk schools, according to a special manual, classes will be held on the “peacekeeping operation in Ukraine”

“Recommendations were received from the Department of General Education to all schools in the region. This is due to the fact that a large amount of information on social networks, often of dubious and provocative content, affects not only adult users, but also children. It is now important for teachers to teach children rules that will help them perceive information meaningfully by checking it in official, reliable sources. We are talking about the psychological health of our children,” noted Irina Grabtsevich, head of the department of general education of the Tomsk region.

According to published materials, teachers are advised to say that what is currently taking place in Ukraine is not a war, but “a special peacekeeping operation, the purpose of which is to contain the nationalists who are oppressing the Russian-speaking population.” The memo notes that the purpose of the operation is to protect people who were subjected to “genocide by the Kyiv regime,” and the occupation of Ukrainian territories is not included in Russia’s plans.

The manual also notes that Russia has always supported and cared for Ukraine:

“We are one people, and there can be no hatred between our countries,” the document notes.

Similar guidelines were received in other regions. Classes on this topic have already been held in the Moscow region.
