The Russian Prosecutor General's Office is demanding that access to the websites of the Ekho Moskvy radio station and the Dozhd TV channel be restricted due to materials containing calls for extremist activity.
According to the agency, these media outlets also “deliberately and systematically” publish “deliberately false information about the actions of Russian military personnel as part of a special operation to protect the DPR and LPR.”
In a comment to Interfax, Ekho Moskvy editor-in-chief Alexei Venediktov said that the radio station had not received any notifications of violations from the Prosecutor General's Office. "We believe that we have not violated anything, we do not see any traces of violations," he said.
