QR codes have been canceled in Moscow

Since March 3, the use of QR codes in Moscow has been discontinued. The corresponding decree was signed by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

The epidemiological situation with coronavirus in the capital is gradually returning to normal, the official stated. According to him, the decrease in the number of new cases of omicron and hospitalizations has allowed a significant part of covid restrictions to be lifted. In this regard, in Moscow:

• stop using QR codes;
• restrictions on visiting catering, theaters, museums, entertainment, cultural, educational and sports events are lifted;
• home regime for citizens over 60 years of age and / or with chronic diseases becomes recommendatory;
• the work of circles and sections of the Moscow Longevity program is resumed.

In St. Petersburg, QR codes in public places are canceled from March 4.
