“The Tomsk region was one of the last regions in the country to introduce QR codes. We are canceling them from Thursday,” he said. — The epidemic has not yet receded, but in Tomsk the number of cases has begun to decline, and those who are sick, for the most part, are not seriously ill. In this regard, I have decided to lift restrictions on visiting sports, service and leisure institutions.”
From March 4, in the Tomsk region, QR codes are canceled for visitors to public catering, hairdressing salons, beauty salons, gyms, hotels, theaters and cinemas, libraries and museums. This decision was made by the head of the region, Sergei Zhvachkin.
Sergei Zhvachkin also allowed the holding of entertainment and leisure events in public catering establishments, provided that half the hall is filled. Let us remind you that the ban on this was in force since February 1.
At the same time, the head of the region noted that the abolition of QR codes for visitors does not cancel the mandatory presence of certificates of vaccinations or previous illness for the staff of these establishments.
The vaccination campaign also continues in the region: more than 600 thousand people have been vaccinated against the new coronavirus infection.
“The load on our respiratory hospitals has decreased significantly, this effect was given to us by vaccination and compliance with anti-epidemic measures. But it is still necessary to get vaccinated, including re-vaccination,” the governor said.
