Experts and scientists discussed how to improve the quality of atmospheric air in the cities of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The environmental round table took place in late February. It was attended by the head of the federal project "Clean Air" Maxim Korolkov, Minister of Ecology of the region Pavel Borzykh, deputies, social activists and scientists.
Experts noted that the problem of air pollution in Krasnoyarsk has long existed and they first started talking about it in the 50s of the last century. During this time, the private sector was actively developing in the region, and now it is one of the sources of pollution of the cities of the region. At the round table, experts examined the possibilities of transition from coal heating to alternative sources.
What are the options for transferring private households from coal? Ruslan Sharafutdinov will tell the director of the Institute of Ecology and Geography of the SFU.
“For example, private households can be transferred to gas. This is one of the options. But it is very expensive. Representatives of Krasnoyarskkroigaz showed how much it could cost, what equipment is required. In any case, it is very expensive. For several houses, this is measured in a million. The second option - can be translated into more environmentally friendly methods of burning. For example, put modern boilers. However, such a modern boiler costs about 120 thousand rubles, as well as the necessary installation work. It is more logical to go to residents with a repressive roller, but still for legal entities who have the opportunity to serve the boiler better. ”
Russian manufacturers of products began to reduce the size of the package more often. This is reported by retail chain employees. For example, Nestle reduced the weight of the tiles of chocolate "Russia" from 85 to 82 grams, and packaging of soluble coffee - from 95 to 85 grams. Makfa released pasta in a package of 400 grams instead of the usual 450 grams.
Mars reduced the weight of the feed for pets from 85 to 75 grams. But at the same time, prices remained the same, manufacturers report. Experts say that reducing the size of packages helps to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, which, with a high concentration, negatively affects the human body.
The Executive Director of Rusbrand Alexei Popovich said that a decrease in the weight of the package by 5-10 grams at a large scale meets world trends, and also helps optimize expenses. For consumers, this is not very noticeable and does not repel them.
