The Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Industry and Trade have allowed retail chains to limit the sale of socially significant products to one person, TASS reports citing a message from the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
We are talking about those products for which the minimum margin was previously set. The decision was made in order to “minimize the risks of acquiring socially significant food products by resellers,” the Ministry of Industry and Trade notes: “In a number of regions, cases have already been recorded when such goods were purchased at a time in an obviously larger volume than necessary for private consumption (up to several tons) for subsequent resale.
Restrictions, including flour and sugar, have already been introduced by the Auchan network. The press service of the company reported that there is an increase in demand for socially significant products, including from business.
