The FSB opened a criminal case against the Tyumen, who allegedly conducted the Telegram channel with the negative assessments of the "military operation" in Ukraine

In Tyumen, employees of the regional department of the FSB opened a criminal case at a 22-year-old student from the village of Turtas of the Uvatsky district, Kirill Martyushev. He is suspected of public calls for extremist activity (part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation - up to five years in prison). According to investigators, the young man led the Telegram channel, in which posts were published with a negative assessment of the Russian “special military operation” in Ukraine and calls for the Tyumen to enter the streets. On March 7, the Central District Court of Tyumen sent him to a pre -trial detention center until May 1. About this Novaya Gazeta said lawyer Pavel Rusnakov.

According to investigators, Martyushev on February 24 published a video in the Telegram channel with a “assessment of the activities of police officers, containing signs of motivation in the form of a call for violent actions in relation to a group of persons united by the family of internal affairs bodies”. The screenshot from the materials of the criminal case was published in the Telegram channel “Network Freedom”, the same materials emphasize that Martyushev was engaged in “protest activities” during the special operation.

The young man was detained by the FSB officers in a rented apartment on March 5. “Cyril wrote to me in the morning, said that the security forces were knocking on the door, after which he disappeared and did not get in touch until late in the evening. It turned out that he had a search and interrogated in a criminal case, ”said Rusnakov. Neither on a search, nor during interrogation, special services employees did not apply violence for Martyushev. All equipment and leaflets were seized from a young man.

Since February 24, when Russian President Vladimir Putin announced “the beginning of a military operation to denacing and demilitarization of Ukraine”, Martheushev announced in the comments in one of the telegram channels that he would go to a single picket by publishing his last name, name and patronymic. Since then, according to investigators, he led a canal, where he told where and how best to glue leaflets, he called to disseminate information about the operation, which the Russian authorities consider false. In the case file, the source of “New”, close to the investigation, the district police officer wrote a negative characteristic on the young man for these actions.

On February 24, Martyusheva was detained by the police. As the United press service of the courts of the Tyumen region later reported, the judge of the Central Court of Tyumen Andrei Ilyin fined him for 19 thousand rubles.

On March 6, Russia was held in Russia against the “military operation of the Russian Federation in Ukraine”, in which, according to the OVD-Info (the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation, 4592 people in 63 cities of the Russian Federation were detained. According to the same data, 24 people were detained in Tyumen.
