Before the detention, I managed to spend about 15–20 minutes at the rally on Komsomolskaya Square. Then the police cut off part of the crowd and began to grab everyone in a row, including my friend and I, although we did not even have any posters. They were not tough for us. There was already a turn in front of Avtozak, everyone was inspected. There were about 30 people inside - there was a feeling like an electric train at a peak hour. We were detained at 15:30, at 16:45 we were already in the police department [Bratevo].
They took passports from us and took it to the assembly hall. There we sat for about two hours, then we began to take us out in groups to the corridor and sent to be photographed. In my group, I and another girl refused to take a photo, we were immediately called the “special contingent” and were taken to a separate room, office 103, if I am not mistaken. The situation there is like in films or cartoons - there are two tables opposite each other, and two spotlights are directed to the door.
There were two girls, a brunette and a blonde, I remembered their faces well. Two men stood closer to the entrance. One for all the time did not say a word. The second had small evil black eyes - it was he who beat me.
I was ordered to sit down, the girls asked questions. They found out where I work, I study what my phone number is for the agenda. My behavior was very angry. They all repeated that I was ******** [abnormal]. When I refused to answer their questions and talked about the 51st article of the Constitution , a policeman with small black eyes beat me with a bottle of water on the face, head and feet, grabbed my hair, doused with water. I tried not to respond to blows.
At some point, they began to say that they would beat me with a stormer shocker. But I think they would not do something, from which [on the body] would have remained strong traces. It seems to me that we will see this, but so far we are not at that stage.
I had two phones with me, one old and unnecessary to divert attention, and the second lay in a pocket with the voice recorder. Before entering this office, I heard screams and thought that I would have to record what would happen there. When I went in, they unlocked the [old and unnecessary] phone, saw that there was nothing turned on, they were delighted and threw him from all the dope, he flew like a ball around the office. Fortunately, after that they did not search me, so I managed to record everything that was happening on the second phone.
In that office, I spent about ten minutes, no more, then I was led up the stairs to another office - so that I signed an explanatory, the obligation to appear to the court and the protocol. There I just burst into tears. After all the beatings, the policeman, who simply sat, called the witnesses and signed the pieces of paper, seemed to be some kind. But the fact that I was beaten was not worried about anyone in the department. Other police simply pretended that nothing was happening.
I did not see how they treated other detainees. But in different chats, other girls said that they were also tortured. One girl wrote that she was sprayed into the eyes of an antiseptic. Another girl pulled out a tuft of hair, she sent photos.
When I left the department, everything was like in a fog. It was late evening, 10 or 11 hours. On the street, a friend who was detained with me was already waiting for me, and another friend came to support us. We ordered a volunteer taxi - these are people who bring free from the police department home for free. Girlfriends insisted that I stay at one of them.
The day after the rally, I went to traumatology. I was fixed beatings and sent to the therapist. The piece of paper says: the bruise of the head, bruising, was beaten into the police department. I even have a suspicion of a concussion. At the same time, the doctor talked with me coldly and himself resembled a cop. Immediately said to remove the phone. I felt like in the department again. From sudden movements, my head begins to hurt. Now my friends are looking after me - they are talking to everything: where to take me, what to do and so on.
I will be judged under Article 20.2 Part 5 . The preliminary date of the court is March 10. Regarding protection, we contacted the OVD-info . Now he writes a lot of lawyers who offer their help. In a sense, this is even a problem: after all, in addition to me, many other girls suffered, but they did not advertise it. I would like to share with them the support that I get myself.
I have already encountered both insults and beatings in childhood, and it seems that my brain knows how to behave in such situations. After this incident in the department, another one will be added to my injuries - the fear of the police. But unlike what was in childhood, now there are a huge number of friends, volunteers, lawyers and psychologists around me. I feel that I am not alone.
