“The daughter was born ahead of schedule, weak, gained weight poorly, lagged behind in physical development. And when she was six months, we noticed that her chest is strangely bulging. We turned to an orthopedist who revealed scoliosis, prescribed massage, therapeutic exercises and swimming. But all this did not help, the curvature of the spine intensified and quickly reached the most severe degree, ”says Sonya Kuznetsova Albina. “Sonya had one shoulder below the other, she walked with difficulty, lost her balance and often fell.”

In two and a half years, the girl was operated on - they installed a special metal structure on the spine, which needs to be pushed back as the child grows. Thanks to the corrections, Sonya began to grow and develop normally, her back straightened up, a skew of her shoulders disappeared, the gait leveled.

“Sonya has a congenital pathology of the formation of bone structures. From the age of two, multi -stage surgical treatment of malignant progressive spinal deformation using the “growing” metal structure was started. At the moment, Sonya has already undergone seven steppe corrections, there are four left ahead before the end of the treatment course.
