
The EU imposed sanctions against 14 large Russian entrepreneurs, their families, as well as 146 members of the Federation Council, who approved the ratification of friendship and cooperation agreements with the DPR and the LPR. This was reported by the official journal of the European Union.
The head of VK and the son of the Deputy Administration of the President Vladimir Kiriyenko, the head of Rostelecom, Mikhail Oseevsky, the director of Aeroflot, Mikhail Poloboyarinov, a member of the board of directors of Magnit, Alexander Vinokurov, chairman of the board of Rosnano Sergey Kulikov, the head of Sibura, Dmitry Konov, the head of Fosagro, Andrei Guryev, and the deputy chairman of the directors, were included in the sanctions list. “Uralkali” Dmitry Mazepin and his son Nikita Mazepin, the Formula 1 pilot.

As the publication of Financial Times noted , almost all of these entrepreneurs attended a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with business on the day of the beginning of hostilities in Ukraine - February 24. Therefore, the newspaper writes, the EU attributed them to Putin's “inner circle”.
