Article 354 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation provides for arrest and a fine for propaganda of war. The head of the Komi regional organization of parents with disabilities "Special Childhood" Julia Posyvkin was arrested for propaganda of the world.
On February 24, she participated in Syktyvkar in an anti -war action. The participants were detained, explained, and to draw up the protocol, they were obliged to come separately, for which they handed the summons. She agreed with the police that she would appear after March 8. However, three days before this holiday, three men detained her near the entrance of her house and first were taken to the police station, and then to the special receiver, where they searched and taken to the cell.
The court sentenced Julia to five days of arrest. She sat mainly with alcoholics and hooligans. True, the very last days was in the cell alone. They fed good, the staff was polite.
All these days, familiar and strangers gave her books, came under the windows of a temporary detention center and shouted: "Julia, we are with you!" Julia, however, did not hear this, but other women were told about this on walks.
And on March 10, friends met her at the exit from the special receiver, presented flowers and congratulated her on the liberation and passed International Women's Day.
Julia admitted to journalists that she did not regret her act at all.
