The famous activist in Buryatia and blogger of the popular telegram Evgeny Baltatarova hastily emigrated from Russia. She told the editorial office of Siberia. Realities, explaining that a criminal case is being prepared against her under a new article “On Military Fakes” for the fact that in her social networks and in the telegram channel she wrote about the so-called “special operation” of Russia in Ukraine, as well as about the dead soldiers from Buryatia.

On March 1, the FSB officers conducted a search in the Baltatarov’s apartment as part of a criminal case, about "fraud using mobile means." Back in December last year, the attackers hacked the old TG channel Baltarova and placed an announcement in it for the sale of cryptocurrencies. The gullible resident of Ulan-Ude transferred to fraudsters 25 thousand rubles, and then, suspecting the deception, wrote a statement to the police. The activist herself in the case takes place as a witness, but in March, the Ministry of Internal Affairs unexpectedly showed up to her with a search, having seized all the equipment. Baltatarova is sure that in her gadgets, the security forces want to find evidence to initiate a “fake case” against her.

- After the search, I fled literally with 200 dollars in my pocket. A brother will send a little. It turned out to be evacuated - an expensive lesson. Despite the fact that the monetization of my YouTube channel has long ceased, and the ruble rate flies down, ”says Baltatarova. - Of course, I did not want to leave, I did not dare for a long time, although my friends, who have their own sources in the special services, had long been warned with direct text about the seriousness of the first prosecution and the preparatory second case. The day before, they said that everything was “sewing” with might and main, there is a collection of material on me under an article about “fakes”. It provides not only large fines, but real imprisonment!

- What material is collected on you, in your opinion?

- The evidence base is gathering - all my posts about Ukraine, reposts from the Ukrainian media, UNIAN, for example. Or from the Belarusian non -hut. Video with soldiers who call names, their cities in Buryatia report that they are captured in Ukraine. Posts with detention and courts over the Buryat activists who are protesting for peace.

Through the same source, I was offered "to remove everything forbidden" from my new TG. Like, then there will be no business. But I won’t be able to ( on the Baltatarovaya channel , photos and videos from shares in Buryatia for peace in Ukraine and from a single picket of Mother Sergei Chirirov, who went to the center of Ulan -Ude, are still published to say that the video with her son is not fake - S.R. ).

They constantly remind me that I behave defiantly, that I "run away" and I have to "land". But what, in fact, am I doing? I want the war to end. And it will end only when people understand how terrible it is.

I want mothers in Buryatia to know that their children have been captivated or that they are already gone to bring a child living or dead home to their homeland. This is now Tsydenov ( Alexei Tsydenov, the head of the Republic of Buryatia, - S.R. ) and Zhambalova ( Yulia Zhambalova, Commissioner for Human Rights in Buryatia, - S.R. ) took care of the fate of prisoners from Buryatia. But how would they learn about them if it were not for the information that is now distributed on the Internet?

I do not commit any crime. I do not disclose secret data on the positions of our troops and do not send money to Ukraine. But I have the right to have my opinion and do my journalistic work. Power and cops can come up with any punishment until the execution of the laws of wartime, but this will not change the essence. I have nothing to be ashamed of. I have nothing to take back and "land". I just want to live, and so that I am not ashamed.

- Your flight, as I understand it, is connected primarily with the new The law "On military fakes"?

- What is happening now is the sentence of freedom of speech in Russia. It has not been much lately, but now it will not be at all. There were only propagandists left ..

I had to leave, because only outside of Russia I can continue to say what I think is true, to call a spade a spade, and not a "special operation".

As a result, I roared in three streams, but decided to leave. She said goodbye to her mother, she put on a Buddhist amulet on me, seeing away from home. I will never forget her face at that moment, ”says Baltatarova.

Where exactly she is now, Eugene refused to speak, saying only that already abroad, but "still on the way."

- I will continue my work. After a couple of days I will arrange. So far, everything is fine, everywhere people treat understanding. I did not ask for political asylum. Perhaps there is no need for this. I just left for now. Otherwise, you can go crazy, says Eugene.

Journalists leave Russia

At least 150 journalists left Russia since the beginning of the so -called "special military operation" in Ukraine, the agency reported the day before. In Russia, dozens of affairs have been instituted under the article on the discrediting of the army, as the grounds “calls” on anti -war protests are indicated as the basis. So, on March 6, a court in Kemerovo fined a local resident of Maxim Murashka for 60 thousand rubles under this article. The Court of Krasnoyarsk fined the activist Vera Kotov to the inscription "no war" on the monument to Vladimir Lenin.

According to Mediazons, on March 7, police detained the rector of the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in the village of Karabanovo, Kostroma Region Ivan Burdin and brought an administrative case on him under a new article - for anti -war statements during a sermon and a link to anti -war petition on the parish page.
