The Mozilla Firefox browser removed the opportunity to choose Yandex as the main search engine. This was told by the former top manager of the company Grigory Bakunov in his telegram channel.

“ Firefox has just removed the search at Yandex from the navigation bar. The default search was replaced by Google, Yandex is removed even from the search window in the settings, ”Bakunov wrote.

The correspondent of the Mediazone was convinced that in the last beta version of the browser, any mention of Yandex disappeared from the settings. At the same time, users still have the opportunity to add “own” search engine to the browser using third -party extensions.
