Russian troops "will take prompt measures to disable the enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine," Igor Konashenkov, spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry, said at a briefing.
According to him, the strikes will be carried out on facilities where "the production, repair and restoration of weapons that nationalists use to commit war crimes" is carried out.
This will be done in response to the Tochka-U rocket shelling of Donetsk in the morning , which killed 17 people.
“We call on Ukrainian citizens working at these enterprises, as well as residents of nearby residential buildings, to leave potentially dangerous zones,” Konashenkov said.
Also, a representative of the Russian Defense Ministry said that the Russian army knows the whereabouts of all foreign mercenaries who came to Ukraine to fight on the side of Kyiv, and targeted strikes will be carried out on them.
Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, the Russian military has been claiming that it only strikes military and information infrastructure. However, in many Ukrainian cities, residential and civilian facilities are being shelled.
